I chose to build rather than keep publishing.
I'm an electrochemist. After a PhD and two postdocs I left academia, deliberately, to build tools and knowledge that are immediately useful to the field.

Story
From the lab bench to the field
My research spanned biosensors, impedance, paper-based electrochemical devices and electrocatalysis, at CSIC in Spain and at the Fritz Haber Institute of the Max Planck Society in Berlin.
Along the way I kept running into the same problems: equipment that was hard to find and compare, and fundamentals that many people use every day without ever having had them explained well.
So I started working on both. ElectroSeek tackles the first; #ectip, my courses and my consulting work tackle the second.
